just a follow up...

that last entry was about the deterioration of the quality of my neighbourhood. i guess that's why i didn't write anything last month when the new dvd player for our school was stolen. like right under our noses. this guy walked straight into our school, went to the room where we store the av equipment and just yanked it off the chariot. we had just purchased that dvd player 2 weeks before (along with the new flatscreen, but luckily it was strapped down to the chariot). we didn't even get a chance to throw the boxes away yet. and the worst part of it was that it was stolen at about 1220 that day. i know it could've been worse... a kid could've been taken. but still... my school is not well off. we do our best to provide for the kids, and to some extent, their parents too. so when we decide to change the 20+ year old tv and vcr for a well overdue and deserved "newer" system, it really kills me to think that other people can be so selfish and deprive kids of what they deserve.

damn you vagrant junkies who infest my neighbourhood!! get a REAL job or get the HELL OUT!
