humans can do bad on their own
so yeah, even the most secluded hermit would've heard the news in passing... namely the news about that earthquake in the indian ocean that caused that huge tsunami. kinda weird... sarah says it's the end of the world. i don't have any real reason to believe my little sister but she sorta has a point. i mean it's probably nature (or some higher power)'s way of telling us that if society doesn't shape up, it's willing to wipe everything out (literally in this case) and start from scratch. And talk about playing on human emotion! of course the people hit first were in the countries that the super power countries would consider "less-fortunate" or even "third world-looking" countries. it's a global plea to certain human beings to stop being self centered and aid their fellow man, no matter what the cultural, social or economic class. it is tragic that all the 120,000+ people have died so unexpectedly, but after being sad about it all for the last week, i think i can see a silver lining in this cloud. but now the suspense of after the aftermath is killing me. i think the world rould throw away differences and join together to help those in need. but when everything gets closer to normal, will it be that all we here about is how horrible people can be to each other once again? if that's the case, let's all brace ourselves for more "acts of god" to knock some sense into our society.
